- Use Skin Look And Feel or Simple Look And Feel

JLearnIt is compatible with Simple Look and Feel:

- For Simple Look and Feel: copy the .slaf files and directory to your
<user.home> directory and start JLearnIt with
javaw -cp slaf.jar;JLearnIt.jar jlearnit.JLearnIt.
- For Skin Look And Feel: set the BaseSkinDir in your file JLearnIt.ini
containing the base directory for your skins <BaseSkinDir>/skin/themes/gtk/... & <BaseSkinDir>/skin/themes/kde/... & &l;tBaseSkinDir>/skin/xxxthemepack.zip and start JLearnIt with javaw -cp skinlf.jar;JLearnIt.jar jlearnit.JLearnIt.

- Optimize the application (memory & speed)

- In the File menu, choose the "Start Faster" item.
The original file is then available in File -> Open -> Local tab -> vocabulary.
- Use the latest version of Java at http://java.sun.com/getjava/
- Take the application with you

- The application is just 2 MB. You just need to copy the JLearnIt.jar in a memory stick or
send the file to one of your online e-mail to have the application accessible to any computer
which already has Java installed.
